Project synopsis: There were two aims for this module. The first one was to record, remix, and modify the sounds. The second part was to implement the sounds into the game with WWISE. All the sounds played in this video are recorded by me, as well as the virtually created sounds. I thank Natalia R. for lending her voice for the dialogues which were required for this module.

Project synopsis: This module was self-directed, and I found that I needed to improve my abilities in level design, blueprints and environmental storytelling to increase my employ-ability. In order to do so, I created a short prototype level that focused on narrative and level design. My Final Project Objectives: 1) Research a) Play and analyze the great 3 walking sim (“Dear Esther”, “Gone Home” and “What Remain Of Edith Finch) and see how each game narrates the story and how they convey it. b) Read “The Game Narrative Toolbox” to get solid foundation on narrative design c) Read “An architectural approach to level design” to further strengthen my knowledge 2) Making a) Create level design (both paper and digital) b) Use blueprints to create a mechanic that will allow the player to pick up objects and outline them with a custom render depth 3) Feedback a) Written reflection on practice

Project synopsis: Prior to my joining the Abertay community, I was bored, nothing I did satisfied me, I felt like nothing really mattered to me and was overall in a dark place. When I decided to apply for this university, I felt like I had to become a better person just to get accepted and start a new chapter in my life. The game is an autobiography, where the player plays as me, acquiring those qualities and living the experiences that directly, or indirectly, brought me here. This game was for the module DES205. It's outcome was to create a game with Unreal Engine to learn how to use blueprints, UMG as well as the implementation of the mechanics from scratch.

Project synopsis: This project was a brief continuation of the project done for DES205. The reason I did it was to further developed my skills with blueprints and Unreal Engine 4. The feedback I got for the past project (DES205) was that the communication of my past self before applying to Abertay was not satisfying enough. So in this iteration I tried to fix that.
